The Chronicle of Grand Lake:
After a long day of Christmas Shopping, Sue and I decided to treat ourselves to a romantic evening at a Grand Lake world class resort. We had not driven in to Pine Lodge Resort at night before. The place was decked out with Christmas Lights, I mean decked out. I thought I saw a squirrel run by with lights on. Every fixture, knick-knack, light switch, all the way down to the wrought iron toilet paper holder carries the rustic cabin message. The kitchen was equipped with gear that you would find in your own home. After we oohed and awed at all the nice stuff, we bolted for the hot tub. It was chilly that evening and the water was awesome. WE RELAXED The fountain in front of our cabin babbled, the hot tub bubbled. We sipped our drinks and got wrinkled. So if you want a taste of a truly Grand Experience, Call Art and June Box at Pine Lodge Resort, they will leave the hot tub on for ya.

"Grand's Pine Lodge: Everywhere Else is a Last Resort"
It was honored by Oklahoma Today as one of the five best Winter resorts on the state. Others have called it the greatest place they've ever stayed, no matter what time of the year it is. If Grand Lake wa a fresh cupcake, Pine Lodge would be the chocolate sprinkles. It just makes life that much sweeter. Nestled in nature's blessed seclusion, it breathes of peace and tranquility. there's a harmony of sounds and smells that feeds the senses and calms the soul. It is as romantic as it is beautiful, sometimes causing a feeling of loss when the visit comes to an end. Addictive? there's no question. Seductive? Guaranteed. A Dream? Not at all. Just ask owners, Art and June Box. The little cabin in the woods with the fireplace glowing in the night. The hot tub is at the perfect temperature. What else could be more romantic?

The Northeast Connection:
While the resort is great for weekend getaways, honeymoons and anniversary celebrations, it is also used quite often for family reunions and business retreats. A Nice sized Clubhouse is conveniently located nearby and offers a fully equipped kitchen, fireplace, game tables and an uniquely shaped swimming pool that changes to a rainbow of colors. The clubhouse is open and free to all resort guests who can't but feel the excitement and lust for life that their hosts have. Regardless of the struggles one may be going through, one visit to the resort quickly puts it all aside for a couple of days of true rest and relaxation.

Grand Explorer:
A roaring Fireplace and quiet serenity is what everyone needs at times. Especially in the middle of winter. A walk through rustling leaves with a chance to see deer and fox. Art and June Box certainly have a knack for creating an environment compatible with nature. Their log cabins in the woods offer a setting that will calm the harshness of everyday life and remind us that the beauty of life that surrounds us is truly God given. This is an exceptional place run by exceptional people. My bet is when you leave here, you'll be back very soon.
